Even after only one movie installment, it’s already hard to imagine anybody other than Kristen Stewart in the role of Bella Swan, but I must say Ashley Greene would have been a good fit as well! In a recent interview she talks about not being Bella, dating Jackson and life on the Twilight set.

Ashley lot the part of Bella to Kristen Stewart, as we all well know, but she did however nab the part of Alice Cullen, Edward’s gorgeous adopted sister. Rumors have been rife about Ahsley dating any number of her co-stars, but the lovely vampire denies being in a relationship, even with the hunky Jackson Rathbone (but we don’t believe her) and feels having a boyfriend will be hard with all the attention focused on Twilight: “If I was in a relationship with someone that I really cared about, it would upset me if they speculated something about me and someone else because that other person has to read it,” Greene said. “That’s the part which I haven’t encountered yet because I’m not in a relationship, but I’m just waiting for it — and then I’m sure I’ll hate it.” Seeing how heavy the scrutiny is under which Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson find themselves she can’t be that sorry, I think. She does praise Rpattz very highly: “”I applaud him. [The fans] love him so much and I know they don’t want to hurt him, but people just don’t realize that when they’re that many people coming with a force, it can be very dangerous sometimes.”
